Join us in ending educational inequality.

Partnering with Giveducation is easy, impactful, and good for your business. Most importantly, it helps students in need.

The easiest way to make an impact.

If you own a learning center or tutoring service, you probably have one or two classes that are under-enrolled. Even if it's just one, that spot usually goes wasted. Giveducation wants to partner with you to offer that spot to a highly-motivated student who can't afford to pay tuition.

Giveducation will take care of things like selecting students and communicating with them. All you need to do is provide the spot. You're in complete control of how many spots you can offer and when you can take in a student.

By providing these spots, you are directly shaping the future of under-privileged students.

Summer slack hurts low income students

During summer vacation, many students lose knowledge and skills. By the end of summer, students perform, on average, one month behind where they left off in the spring. Of course, not all students experience “average” losses- summer learning loss disproportionately affects low-income students. In 2010, President Obama noted, “Students are losing a lot of what they learn during the school year during the summer.”

Learning centers, taking on a new role

Especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic, after-school and summer programs play an essential role in our country’s efforts to reopen and rebuild in partnership with youth, families, and the community because they provide safe, developmentally rich settings for learning and development, are seen as trusted partners by families and communities, and have connections to other supports and services that schools and families need.

After-school programs are critical

A decade of research and evaluation studies, as well as large-scale, rigorously conducted syntheses looking across many research and evaluation studies, confirms that children and youth who participate in after school programs can reap a host of positive benefits in a number of interrelated outcome areas—academic, social/emotional, health, and wellness.

There's a problem with equal access

In the U.S., more than 20 million children and youth under the age of 18 lack accessibility and affordability to after-school and summer programs. Research finds that although the demand for after-school and summer learning programs in communities of concentrated poverty is high, two out of three parents living in communities of concentrated poverty say that finding an enriching environment for their child after school was a challenge. Additionally, more than 6 in 10 parents living in communities of concentrated poverty report that the current economic conditions have made it difficult for them to afford placing their child in an after-school program.

Let's answer your questions.

What is a Giveducation partner?

Giveducation partners are learning centers and tutoring organizations that work with us to provide free, high quality classes to students in need.

Who can be a Giveducation partner?

Any learning center or tutoring organization (for-profit or non-profit) can become a Giveducation partner.

How can my learning center become a Giveducation partner?

To become a Giveducation partner, fill out the application here

How do partners contribute?

Almost all learning centers have one or two programs that aren't fully enrolled. That empty spot usually goes to waste. Giveducation wants to change that by giving the vacant spot to a student (Giveducation Scholar) who can't otherwise afford it. Our partners contribute by donating these spots to us.

All Giveducation Scholars undergo a rigoruous application process that considers academic performance at school, level of motivation, and need.

Is being a partner free?

Yes. There are no fees or costs associated with being a Giveducation partner. All we ask is that partners donate at least one spot.

How many classes do partners need to donate?

As a partner, you choose when and how many spots you donate—it's completely up to you.

What are the benefits of being a partner?

As a Giveducation partner, you are directly contributing to the success of under-privileged students. Partnering with us gives your buisness a unique oppurtunity to engage with your local community and participate in philanthropy.

Additionally, we'll feature your buisness on our website. Customers are 85% more likely to do buisness with places that support causes they care about, and employees are five times more likely to stay with employers that engage in philanthropy.
